Christopher Pizzo

Christopher Pizzo has more than 30 years of experience in interim management, lender advisory, restructuring, finance and accounting roles. Mr. Pizzo has worked across a wide range of industries, including healthcare, oil and gas, media and telecommunications, manufacturing, distribution and retail.

Throughout his career, Mr. Pizzo has advised both companies and lenders in distressed situations, including out-of-court and formal bankruptcy proceedings. In these roles, he assessed strategies and market conditions, analyzed financial forecasts, advised on cash flow, liquidity and debt capacity and successfully restructured debt while negotiating forbearance agreements. Mr. Pizzo’s expertise also extends to public and private company accounting, financial reporting and implementing cost initiatives.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Pizzo was a Senior Vice President in Deloitte’s Corporate Restructuring Group and a Managing Director at LCG Capital. He also founded CP Advisors, an interim management services firm. Preceding these roles, he served as Controller for the The Knot, Inc.'s NASDAQ IPO, where he implemented accounting software, developed internal controls and supported financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”) processes. He also served as Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of London & Leeds Development Corporation, a subsidiary of The Ladbrokes Group, where he oversaw financial reporting. Mr. Pizzo began his career as a Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”) in Ernst & Young's Audit practice.

• Restructuring advisor to the lender syndicate of a nationwide specialized surgery provider
• Restructuring advisor to bondholders in the Chapter 11 proceedings of a multifacility continuing care retirement community
• Financial advisor to a $5 billion regional health system to perform transactional, strategic and turnaround services related to a partnership with a $1 billion long-term care company
• Interim Chief Accounting Officer for a publicly held retailer of children’s apparel
• Interim Global Controller for a PE-owned manufacturer of dental imaging equipment and a provider of software solutions
• Interim Senior Vice President (“SVP”) of Financial Reporting for a PE-owned molding systems manufacturer
• CFO for a public triple play service provider and an IT network/software developer
• Interim CFO for a distressed manufacturer and retailer; responsible for financial reporting, renegotiating debt and raising capital
