Dave Phillips specialises in performance improvement, operations strategy, business strategy and transactions. Mr. Phillips has more than 15 years of hands-on consulting experience and 12 years of industry experience in operations, strategy, sales and marketing roles.
As an advisor to clients on performance improvement and turnaround projects across industries, Mr. Philips focuses on manufacturing, supply chain, procurement and portfolio. He has led large scale cost transformations for corporate clients covering multiple functions, geographies and business units. He brings deep content expertise, programme management and stakeholder management skills to deliver sustainable results.
A specialist in the consumer goods and logistics sectors, with significant experience in other sectors including retail, chemicals and industrial products, Mr. Phillips has advised clients through complex carve-out and transactions processes, supporting senior management teams through decision making, whilst managing multiple stakeholders and external advisors. He has experience in operational due diligence, commercial due diligence, business plan review, business carve out, negotiation processes, distribution agreements and post deal integration.
Mr. Phillips has extensive international experience, including client advisory and serving as a project lead across Europe (Belgium, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Netherlands, Spain, Poland, Romania, UK), Africa (Kenya, Nigeria), Asia and the Americas.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2017, Mr. Phillips worked for PwC Strategy&, formerly Booz & Company, Coca-Cola Enterprises and ICI plc.
