David Farber has more than 14 years of experience in helping global organizations navigate the intersection of complex regulatory requirements, data privacy and financial crime compliance. Mr. Farber focuses on designing and deploying technical frameworks that address the complexities of global data protection laws, ensuring robust compliance and risk management strategies for clients.

In the rapidly evolving field of data privacy, Mr. Farber plays a key role in helping multinational firms align with global regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”) and various U.S. state privacy laws. He frequently manages the implementation of comprehensive data inventories related to Article 30 of the GDPR and is proficient in leveraging specialized privacy platforms to map complex data flows. His strategic insights extend to emerging technologies, where he advises clients on operationalizing the National Institute of Standards and Technology (“NIST”) Privacy Framework and developing scalable impact assessment processes.

Furthermore, Mr. Farber leads the implementation and remediation of Consent Management Platforms (“CMP”) to ensure tracking technology compliance, and implementation of privacy rights (“DSAR”) processes to comply with global regulations. With a strong track record, he has spearheaded or contributed to more than 100 privacy technology implementations, demonstrating his deep technical experience in the field.

Mr. Farber has developed a specialized focus on financial services compliance, where he designs and implements sophisticated automated reporting suites. He is particularly skilled in architecting systems that detect and flag anti-money laundering (“AML”) and fraud risks, providing executive leadership with the real-time data necessary for high-stakes decision-making. His ability to build custom SQL-driven solutions allows for the seamless integration of data loading, file archiving and automated stored procedures, resulting in defensible and transparent compliance programs that satisfy both internal stakeholders and government regulators.

Mr. Farber is highly proficient in industry-leading privacy platforms, including OneTrust, Securiti.ai and Ketch. He holds multiple privacy platform expert certifications and is a OneTrust Fellow. In addition, he is highly technically proficient in data analytic tools such as Microsoft SQL, SSRS and Tableau. He holds a B.A. in Computer Information Systems and a B.A. in Finance from James Madison University.
