About David
David Farber has more than 15 years of experience helping global organizations navigate the intersection of complex regulatory requirements, data privacy operations and analytics. Mr. Farber specializes in designing, operationalizing and deploying technical privacy frameworks that translate regulatory obligations into scalable, sustainable business processes. His work enables organizations to meet evolving global data protection requirements while strengthening governance, enhancing transparency and reducing operational risk.
In the rapidly evolving privacy landscape, Mr. Farber plays a critical role in guiding multinational organizations through compliance with global regulations, including the General Data Protection Regulation (“GDPR”), Article 30 recordkeeping requirements and a broad range of U.S. state privacy laws. He leads enterprise-wide data inventory initiatives, leveraging structured methodologies and specialized privacy platforms to map complex data flows, identify processing activities and operationalize records of processing. He also advises clients on implementing the NIST Privacy Framework, developing scalable Privacy Impact Assessment (“PIA”) and Data Protection Impact Assessment (“DPIA”) programs, and embedding privacy-by-design principles into technical and operational workflows.
Mr. Farber brings deep expertise in privacy technology implementation, including leading the deployment and remediation of Consent Management Platforms (“CMPs”) to address tracking technology compliance and advertising ecosystem risks. He also designs and operationalizes global privacy rights programs, including Data Subject Access Requests (“DSAR”), implementing automated workflows, verification protocols and integrated response mechanisms to ensure timely and defensible compliance. Over the course of his career, he has spearheaded or contributed to more than 100 privacy technology implementations, demonstrating both strategic insight and hands-on technical execution.
In addition, Mr. Farber is highly experienced in evaluating and optimizing privacy technology ecosystems. He works closely with clients to assess available privacy management platforms, data discovery tools, consent solutions and privacy rights automation systems — helping organizations understand the strengths, limitations, scalability considerations and integration implications of each solution based on their specific risk profile, regulatory exposure and operational maturity. He translates complex vendor capabilities into practical business guidance, enabling clients to make informed technology investments. Beyond assessment, he actively leads configuration, integration and deployment efforts, ensuring tools are implemented efficiently, aligned with regulatory requirements and embedded seamlessly into existing system architectures. His ability to bridge regulatory interpretation with technical implementation accelerates privacy operations and drives measurable, sustainable outcomes.
