He has worked across a variety of industries, specifically including travel and leisure, manufacturing, real estate and mining.
Mr. Kiyosaki’s recent experience includes assisting Diebold Nixdorf as they proceeded through a dual U.S. Chapter 11 restructuring and Dutch WHOA proceeding, resulting in $1.5 billion deleveraging and more than $100 million in annual interest savings. Mr. Kiyosaki was instrumental in securing a $1.25 billion debtor in possession (“DIP”)-to-exit credit facility as part of the restructuring. Additionally, he assisted in liquidity and 13-week cash flow analysis, vendor management, pre-petition bankruptcy planning and other ad hoc activities.
In addition, Mr. Kiyosaki provided advisory support for The Hertz Corporation’s successful restructuring process. Mr. Kiyosaki led the footprint rationalization and claims reconciliation processes and was critically involved in vendor management, contingency planning, and various other bankruptcy-related workstreams. Mr. Kiyosaki was also heavily involved in the sale of various assets and maintenance of the 13-week cash flow under rapidly evolving circumstances.
Mr. Kiyosaki has assisted in performing buy-side due diligence for a government-sponsored loan program. His role included building a comprehensive, integrated three-statement model for the lenders as part of a potential multibillion-dollar loan.
