Doug Edelman

Doug Edelman, based in New York, has more than 10 years of professional investment banking and other financial services experience. Mr. Edelman advises companies on buy-side and sell-side transactions, providing transactional and financial advisory assistance to clients on M&A transactions, strategic planning and other management planning.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Edelman was with Deloitte Corporate Finance, the wholly owned investment banking subsidiary of Deloitte LLP, in Charlotte, NC, and New York City, where he advised clients on buy-side and sell-side transactions across a variety of industries. Prior to that, Mr. Edelman also was with Promontory Financial Group in New York, where he worked closely with major banking clients and provided advisory services regarding issues ranging from risk management to strategy.

Mr. Edelman holds a B.A. in Economics from Haverford College and an M.B.A. from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business. Mr. Edelman holds FINRA Series 7, 63, and 79 investment banking licenses.
