Duncan Mavin

Duncan Mavin is a specialist in crisis communication and crisis management with deep expertise in global media relations.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Duncan was an international journalist and media strategist. He held senior editorial and management roles at organisations including The Wall Street Journal, Bloomberg News and The Washington Post across Asia Pacific, the Americas and Europe. He is the author of the critically acclaimed, best-selling books ‘Meltdown: Scandal, Sleaze and the Collapse of Credit Suisse’ and ‘Pyramid of Lies: Lex Greensill and the Billion-Dollar Scandal’.

Duncan is a qualified Chartered Accountant and worked for a decade in London and Toronto for companies including Deloitte and the Bank of Nova Scotia.
