About Emily
Emily Golenberg has more than 15 years of global transaction experience and has advised on over 200 deals. Ms. Golenberg’s expertise includes buy- and sell-side operational due diligence, deal strategy, negotiations and managing complex pre-close separations, post-close carve-outs and merger integrations. She also supports private equity clients in value creation both within and outside of deal contexts and has worked on transactions in all major global markets and industries, with a concentration in the healthcare and life sciences, diversified industrials, food and technology sectors.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Golenberg was a Managing Director at EY-Parthenon, where she advised corporate and private equity clients on asset value preservation and creation across the transaction life cycle from initial diligence to deal execution and operational optimization.
Previously, Ms. Golenberg served as an operating executive at Platinum Equity, where was oversaw carve-out operational due diligence for transactions globally. She also advised the deal and management teams on portfolio company integrations and divesting carve-outs. Her responsibilities included standalone and one-time costing, operational risk, transaction agreement negotiations, Day 1 and transition oversight and investment committee briefings.
Before transitioning to consulting and private equity, Ms. Golenberg was part of the less than 20-person start-up team for Circle Health, now the UK’s largest private hospital provider. At Circle Health, she held key responsibilities in corporate development, operations and brand marketing.
