About Emily
Emily Seabury manages strategic and operationally complex disputes and investigations projects for cross-border, cross-functional teams. Ms. Seabury has 15 years of experience supporting and leading teams in legal matters, with an emphasis on e-discovery case management, and serves as the leader for the case management function within FTI Technology. She collaborates with teams in North America and Europe, the Middle East, India and Africa (“EMEIA”) to implement, enhance and manage internal proprietary case management tools and workflows to ensure efficient and effective delivery for client projects.
Ms. Seabury has extensive expertise in handling second requests and has provided case management leadership for more than 10 second requests and global merger clearance matters. Her work has involved responding to complex information requests from multiple regulatory agencies in parallel, including the U.S. Federal Trade Commission and Department of Justice, as well as the Canadian Competition Bureau and competition authorities within the UK and European Union. She often serves as the primary point of contact for corporate clients, ensuring consistency in approach, effective reuse of data and implementation of standardized playbooks amid legal matters such as intellectual property theft, product liability disputes and multidistrict litigations.
As a case manager for high-stakes client engagements, Ms. Seabury develops workflow protocols and case management plans that allow for seamless delivery across matters while managing competing deadlines and priorities. She has spearheaded numerous large, complex, time-compressed engagements as the lead for managing client relationships, global project teams, coordination across disparate internal teams, budget and invoicing, risk mitigation, deadline management and workflow implementation. She is also a strategic change manager across the segment, developing and overseeing training, internal awareness, staffing models and mentorship to enhance and grow case management offerings.
