About Emre
Emre Bayrak is an architect with 24 years of experience in the construction industry, specializing in delay analysis, scheduling and cost control. He has the optimum balance of contracting and consultancy services.
Emre has been appointed as an independent delay expert in relation to an ICC Arbitration on a key residential development in Bahrain and has been cross-examined by giving concurrent evidence (‘hot tubbing’) and in which his evidence was highly appreciated by the tribunal.
Emre has worked on a number of high value and complex projects including major airports, high rise buildings, residential developments, hospitals, and oil and gas facilities in the Middle East region.
As a delay analyst, Emre has experience applying all the methods of delay analysis and specializes in the “As-planned versus As-built Windows” method, where other methods are not applicable due to lack of programming information. He has extensive skills for fact finding and illustrating big data in simple figures and has extensive knowledge of causation principles and concurrent delays.
