Felipe Esteves

Felipe Esteves is a Senior Director in FTI Consulting’s Economic Consulting segment. For 11 years, Felipe has developed projects related to litigation and arbitration support, distressed portfolio management, financial due diligence and other practices.

Felipe acts as a technical expert for litigation and arbitration processes between companies, providing substantial economic analysis to one of the sides of the dispute or directly to the court. In this work, he supports the recalculation of fair damages amounts; the financial impact of shareholding structure changes; the evolution of debt scenarios in disputed events; and the recalculation of economic impact and penalization clauses, among other services.

In addition to economic analysis, Felipe provides interim management support to foreign investors of projects located in Brazil. He has significant experience in multi-area team management, financial projections, cash and resources control, risk and expositions control and third-party services hiring. In this capacity, Felipe has assisted on a diverse set of project types, including the design and implementation of shareholding restructuring processes and the coordination of orderly wind-downs, with a focus on risk mitigation. In addition, he has supported clients on real estate liquidation, distressed portfolio administration, cost-saving measures implementation and foreign funds distribution, among other areas.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Felipe worked for six years as a Manager of the Deals Transaction Team within the Deals practice of PwC Brazil. In this role, he advised corporate and financial clients across the globe, on both the buy- and sell-side, for distinct types of due diligence projects, including M&A, carve-outs, closing processes and others. Additionally, Felipe has extensive experience reflecting the impacts of various due diligence processes, such as tax, legal, labor, operational and human resources, into the financial aspects of a transaction.
