Frank Xia

Frank Xia provides buy-side and sell-side financial due diligence support across the full transaction lifecycle for private equity groups, corporate clients and lenders. Mr. Xia has advised clients in various industries, including telecom and technology, manufacturing, healthcare and service providers. He has more than 10 years of experience advising clients on corporate and financial matters.

Mr. Xia advises clients through each stage of the deal cycle. He combines his analytical insight with a diverse professional background to create unique value for each client’s needs. This includes evaluating the quality and sustainability of reported earnings and free cash flow, reviewing financial projections, analyzing the quality and realizability of the balance sheet and net assets, evaluating historical working capital trends and managing post-close negotiations. Mr. Xia has worked on deals with enterprise values ranging from $10 million to $1 billion.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Xia advised private equity and corporate clients on M&A transactions in Texas for two years. He began his career at PwC, building on his background in accounting, where he served public clients and advised on SEC reporting requirements. Mr. Xia is a licensed Certified Public Accountant (“CPA”).

Relevant Experience:

• Advised Hertz as part of its Chapter 11 restructuring on the carve-out and sale of its wholly-owned subsidiary, Donlen Corporation, to Athene for approximately $900 million in cash proceeds
• Worked with Sony Corporation and their subsidiary, Crunchyroll, in the acquisition of various anime and e-commerce focused companies
• Advised Alphasense, an AI-based market intelligence and search platform, in the acquisition of its competitor, Sentieo
• Advised Alorica, a leading call center and customer experience provider, in its pursuit of refinancing, including a $750 million refinancing with Apollo and subsequent $1 billion refinancing led by Cerberus Capital Management
