Greg Berkin has more than 30 years of experience as a seasoned technology executive and serial entrepreneur, having founded the first educational software company for the Apple Macintosh computer in 1984.
Mr. Berkin is a veteran application software developer and program manager on multiple platforms, devices, and environments. His technology stack experience includes native application development to enterprise software deployment in areas such as cybersecurity, media/streaming, 3D graphics visualization/drones, Internet technologies, aviation/autos, augmented/virtual/mixed/cross reality (AR/VR/MR/XR), Internet of things (IoT), education/e-commerce, visual effects, and more.
In the late nineties, Mr. Berkin joined Intel Corporation as a senior executive working with software developers for Intel's Pentium processor-based platforms and technology initiatives. Mr. Berkin also served as Intel's ‘Digital Video Disc (DVD) Evangelist', working with Hollywood Studios and the consumer electronics industry to define the development of the DVD and associated Internet technologies. Mr. Berkin was named one of the most influential executives in the development of the DVD in the year 2000.
Based in Silicon Valley, Mr. Berkin has spearheaded private equity investments and information technology development in numerous early-stage startups in a wide range of software application areas on a global basis. Mr. Berkin has advised newly emerging ventures from Stanford, Berkeley, and Duke University's accelerator, incubation, and enterprise programs taking on roles in their evolution and growth.
Mr. Berkin brings a lifetime of insight and hands-on experience in global business development, technology integration, and business advisory services to all clientele. He is a frequent speaker in the Silicon Valley startup community discussing emerging trends in computing and smart devices. Mr. Berkin participated in the inaugural FBI CISO Academy at Quantico, Virginia in 2015.
