Guilherme Schreuders

Guilherme Schreuders is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Economic Consulting segment and helps clients in complex disputes, advising them on financial, economic and accounting matters. Guilherme has a background in transaction services, carrying out financial due diligence for corporate and private equity clients in a variety of geographies and sectors.

Since joining FTI Consulting in 2018, Guilherme has supported clients on financial, economic and accounting issues in legal disputes and arbitration projects, as well as restructuring projects, helping companies navigate Chapter 11 reporting obligations.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Guilherme was a Senior Manager at PwC, where he worked for 15 years, in the Transaction Services teams in São Paulo and Paris.

During his career, Guilherme was involved in several cross-border engagements, in Brazil, Chile, Colombia, Costa Rica, France, Mexico, Panama, Spain, the United Kingdom and the United States.

Guilherme speaks Portuguese, English, Spanish and French.

• Expert witness in an oil and gas international arbitration involving the applicability and calculation of certain taxes
• Expert witness in an arbitration involving a discussion about inflation indexes in a lease contract
• Expert witness in an international arbitration involving a dispute around the responsibility of civil and labor contingencies following a legal restructuring of a large retail business, including providing oral testimony to the arbitral tribunal
• Expert witness in an international arbitration involving a breach of a distribution contract in the automotive sector
• Expert witness in an international arbitration in the insurance broker sector involving the breach of warranties following an M&A transaction
