Guy Davis, CPA, CIRA, CDBV, CFE

Guy Davis specializes in corporate restructuring, bankruptcy litigation, financial damage analysis, business valuation, mergers and acquisitions (M&A) and business formation. Mr. Davis has more than 30 years of accounting, finance and consulting experience in the areas of corporate restructuring, commercial litigation, financial investigations and valuation.

Mr. Davis has performed a variety of financial advisory and fiduciary services to troubled entities including operations management, asset liquidation, debt restructuring, asset recovery, fraud investigation, solvency analyses and business valuation. As an expert in litigation matters, Mr. Davis has prepared research and analyses to determine compensatory and punitive damages in personal and corporate disputes involving patent infringement, reasonable royalty, breach of contract, employment, negligence, franchise termination, fraudulent conveyances and marital dissolution.

Mr. Davis has served as acting Chief Financial Officer (“CFO”) of debtor organizations, Chief Liquidation Officer, court approved claims and disbursing agent and accountant to Chapter 7 trustees. He has also testified before several U.S. District, Bankruptcy and circuit courts across the country. A seasoned expert in his field, Mr. Davis has provided testimony on behalf of corporations, individuals, class-action plaintiffs and defendants, sureties and financial institutions.

Over Mr. Davis' career, he has worked with corporations and estates across a variety of industries including financial services, healthcare, energy, retail, manufacturing, insurance, equipment leasing, ship repair, construction, metals, mining and hospitality.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Davis was a Managing Director with Protiviti Inc. and led the firm’s Restructuring & Litigation Services practice. He is a published author and a frequent speaker at industry events.
