Hadi Esmaeili combines his expertise in business consulting and investment banking to assist firms encountering complex commercial and financial challenges on wide-ranging matters, from transaction support to value creation.

Hadi advises clients across a broad spectrum of mandates, including strategy formulation, performance improvement, post-merger integration, and transaction support, such as conducting commercial due diligence and M&A advisory.

Hadi’s clients have encompassed publicly traded multinational corporations to mid-market private companies, creditors, private equity firms, family offices and investment banks. He has advised clients across various sectors including real estate, lodging, hospitality, telecom, media and technology (“TMT”), industrials, non-profit, aged-care and financial services.

Prior to transitioning into management consulting, Hadi worked in investment banking, advising clients on M&A, capital raising, debt restructuring and corporate reorganisations. This multi-faceted background enables him to examine client challenges through both financial and commercial dimensions and formulate pragmatic solutions that enhance value.

Relevant Experience:

• Conducted commercial due diligence on an ASX-listed TMT firm in connection with a potential acquisition by a global competitor
• Reviewed the cost base for a non-bank lender to assess the impact of growth and automation on costs and identify areas of improvement
• Co-led the integration management office in relation to a cross-border merger involving nine countries; included assisting with strategy refinement and the go-to-market approach for the Southeast Asia region
• Assisted a leading standard developing organization (“SDO”) re-imagine its product, channel, distributor and pricing strategy
• Formulated a detailed sales operations function integration readiness plan in anticipation of a planned customer relationship management (“CRM”) alignment for a merger
• Enhanced organisational structure and streamlined processes for the asset management division of a leading Australian retail firm
