Hayden White

Hayden White specialises in restructuring, corporate recovery and turnaround management, bringing more than 25 years of experience working with corporate clients, boards, financiers, retail banks and small-to-medium enterprises.

Hayden brings extensive experience across all facets of insolvency and restructuring, including Independent Business Reviews for equity and debt holders, acting as an independent expert on solvency-related matters and undertaking large-scale insolvency and restructuring assignments.

Hayden regularly supports the public initiatives of Chartered Accountants Australia and New Zealand and actively participates in the not-for-profit sector through board and committee representation.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Hayden was a partner at a Big Four accounting firm where he led the Perth Restructuring Services Team.

Relevant Experience:

• Berrington Aged Care (Voluntary Administration) – Led the successful restructure and sale of the Berrington Aged Care businesses, through the Voluntary Administration regime, securing ongoing employment for over 300 employees and continued care for over 200 aged care residents across Berrington’s facilities
• Paladin Energy Ltd (Voluntary Administration) – Dual-listed, global uranium explorer and mining company, with interests across Australia, Africa and Canada; successful restructure and recapitalisation through the Voluntary Administration regime
• Distressed business sale – Led the restructuring and sale of an iconic food manufacturer in Australia and New Zealand
• Macro Realty – Court-appointed Liquidator of the Macro Realty Group of companies, a large-scale Ponzi scheme in the north-west of Western Australia; Hayden led the ASIC-funded liquidation (approximately 80 companies) and investigation into the collapse
