James Tranter

James Tranter leads the Investor Relations service in the Strategic Communications practice in Perth. He has extensive experience providing senior corporate communications advice across a full range of investor and media relations, corporate transaction activity and reputation management.

James has advised clients across various sectors, from emerging small and mid-cap companies to leading multinationals with a global presence.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting in 2012, James has headed up ASX listed company investor relations activities, and draws on 6 years’ experience within KPMG’s Corporate Finance business working on valuation, M&A and financing transactions. He has also held senior financial management roles within the energy infrastructure sector across planning, investment and business development.

James is a Chartered Accountant and with a career spanning corporate finance, financial management and corporate communications, he brings a commercial approach together with strong financial knowledge.
