Jan Naifeh specializes in working with clients to develop and implement solutions designed to enhance and improve strategic and operational performance. Ms. Naifeh has more than 30 years of experience across various industries, including healthcare, energy, government contractors, manufacturing, distribution, media and telecommunications.
Ms. Naifeh has advised clients experiencing distress, as well as those in healthy growth periods. Her engagement experience includes business diagnostics and strategic plan development, capital structure review, collateral assessments, cash management, debt negotiations and repayment strategies. Ms. Naifeh is also well-versed in liquidation analyses, financial advisor communications management, contingency planning and plan of reorganization negotiations, as well as evaluation and negotiation of Section 363 sale processes and review of debtor-in-possession financing.
Ms. Naifeh advocates for her clients and develops customized solutions by analyzing financials, evaluating business plans and developing and executing strategies that leverage secondary market transactions and debt restructuring. Her many years of experience have yielded successful outcomes involving complex negotiations with stakeholders, developing strategies and delivering improved results.
Ms. Naifeh’s experience also includes resolving disputes via refinancings, secondary marketing transactions and in-court proceedings, including Section 363 sales and liquidations. In addition to her robust client work, Ms. Naifeh’s opinion is regularly sought out on credit matters by steering and creditor committees, which she has actively participated in.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Naifeh was a Senior Vice President of the Corporate and Investment Banking Special Assets Division at SunTrust Bank, where she also served as the Executive Vice President of Credit Risk Management for the Nashville region.
Relevant Experience:
- Served as advisor to the asset-based lending (“ABL”) lenders for Envision, Inc.; assessed the company’s business plan and debt capacity; assisted the agent and counsel in developing repayment strategies
- Served as advisor to the lenders for Extraction Oil and Gas; assisted the lenders through the bankruptcy process
- Served as advisor to the ad-hoc term-loan lenders for American Addiction Centers; reviewed the company’s liquidity and assisted the lenders on a go-forward strategy
- Served as advisor to the senior lenders for a pharmaceutical distributor; assessed the company’s business plans and liquidity forecasts and advised the lenders on strategy
- Served as advisor to the lenders for Vital Pharmaceutical (also known as “Bang Energy”); analyzed the company’s liquidity and go-forward business plan, as well as the methodology underlying the company’s 13-week cash flow forecast
- Served as advisor to the senior lenders for a global healthcare solutions company; incorporated product manufacturing, distribution support and innovative technology services
