Jared Dunkin

Jared Dunkin serves as Head of Global Tax and Treasury at FTI Consulting, Inc. In his role, Mr. Dunkin oversees the firm’s global tax and treasury functions and advises senior leadership on tax strategy, capital management, treasury operations and cross-border business initiatives.

Mr. Dunkin brings more than 20 years of experience leading global tax, treasury and finance organizations for publicly traded and multinational companies. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he served as the Global Head of Tax and Treasury at VICE Media and as Global Head of Tax at CEB, Inc. Prior to that, Mr. Dunkin held the role of Vice President of Global Tax Planning and M&A at Discovery Communications. Earlier in his career, he worked in EY’s national tax group in Washington, D.C. and as an Associate at Greenberg Traurig, LLP.

In addition to his corporate leadership experience, Mr. Dunkin is an adjunct professor at Georgetown University Law Center and is the author of three books: Brass Tax: 14 Actionable Insights to Power Your Success, Wednesdays with Avrom and The Cat’s Meow.

Mr. Dunkin earned his bachelor’s degree from Virginia Tech, his J.D. from George Mason School of Law and his LL.M. from Georgetown University Law Center. After earning his bachelor’s degree, Mr. Dunkin volunteered with the Peace Corps in the Dominican Republic, where he worked with small businesses and children’s initiatives.
