Jason Kron

Jason Kron has more than 15 years in the healthcare and consulting industry, and a proven track record of delivering operational improvements and financial success for health systems, academic medical centers, community hospitals, physician practices and beyond. Mr. Kron’s primary expertise includes patient throughput, provider productivity, patient access and workforce management. He routinely leads the project management office (“PMO”), coordinating workstreams across FTI Consulting’s comprehensive range of solution areas to promote optimal outcomes.

Mr. Kron has led a series of successful engagements focused on identifying, implementing and monitoring the achievement of expense management and revenue enhancement initiatives. He relies on a heavily analytical approach and methodical project management techniques to proactively identify project obstacles and deliver novel solutions. Mr. Kron has consistently been effective in coordinating with client leadership, providers and staff to implement initiatives in a timely manner and embed oversight structures and analytics to monitor activity and ensure sustainability of the effort.

In recent years, Mr. Kron has established and led project management and command center structures to support a nationally recognized academic healthcare system in the development and implementation of strategic initiatives. His efforts helped to accelerate systemization and advance corporate services. He also led two recently merged health systems in the identification, implementation and monitoring of margin improvement initiatives, and was responsible for the integration and system migration of two public managed care organizations.

Mr. Kron has also coordinated teams across various performance improvement assessment and implementation engagements, including case management, emergency department services and physician practice management, among others. His contributions stand out for their insightful data analytics, tailored recommendations, comprehensive management action plans, and strong collaborative partnerships with client leaders and staff.

Relevant Experience:

• Worked as an Operations Engineer with the Vanderbilt Medical Group Performance Improvement Office where he partnered with department leadership to assess performance and develop solutions to track and improve ambulatory patient access and experience
