Jason Leow

Jason Leow is a Senior Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting. Mr. Leow helps drive the firm’s business across Asia, advising boards and CEOs on strategic issues, transactions and reputation and integrating data-driven insights and stakeholder analysis into decision-making and communications strategies.

Mr. Leow brings more than two decades of experience in corporate affairs, media and strategic advisory across Asia. He has counselled senior leaders on complex cross-border transactions, crisis situations and organisational change. His work spans the financial services, real estate, private equity, government and family office sectors, where he supports clients in building resilient leadership, strengthening governance and navigating reputation and disclosure challenges in high-stakes environments.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Leow led communications for GIC, Singapore’s sovereign wealth fund, where he oversaw transaction communications and ESG engagement. He also held senior leadership roles at Shell, where he served as General Manager of External Relations for Singapore, and at Edelman Smithfield, where he was Vice Chair of Asia Pacific. Mr. Leow began his career as a journalist at The Straits Times and The Wall Street Journal, reporting on business and economic issues across the region.

In addition to his corporate career, Mr. Leow founded The Doing Well Centre and The Quiet Counsel, a Singapore-based CEO coaching, organisational wellbeing consulting and strategic communications practice that supports leaders in managing transitions, identity resilience and purpose-driven leadership.

Relevant Experience:

• Helped a leading Singaporean bank establish crisis management protocols; trained senior executives in crisis communications and provided regional counsel and on-the-ground support during high-pressure situations
• Counselled a U.S.-listed financial services group on its Asia Pacific strategic positioning and market entry approach
• Oversaw transaction communications and ESG engagement for GIC, including the implementation of its inaugural stewardship framework
• Supported a team advising on a take-private transaction in Japan; and on an attempted acquisition by a German insurer in Singapore
• Advised CEOs and boards across the financial, real estate and private equity sectors on leadership transitions, governance and stakeholder engagement
