About Jeffrey
Jeffrey Toeneboehn specializes in business transformation, merger and acquisition (“M&A”) advisory and corporate strategy. Mr. Toeneboehn has more than a decade of experience serving multinational corporations and private equity clients across a broad range of industries, with a focus on telecom, media and technology (“TMT”). His expertise includes corporate strategy, major operational transformations, due diligence, target screening, valuation and growth strategy.
Mr. Toeneboehn has worked with a variety of businesses, including large streamers, content creators and distributors, publishers, SaaS businesses and outsourced film, television and gaming providers. He has experience transforming marketing organizations of major film and television studios, executing operational transformations in the context of M&A transactions and assisting with a variety of transactions on both the buy- and sell-side.
Mr. Toeneboehn has held positions within FTI Consulting’s Corporate Strategy practice, where he partnered with the C-suite to define and execute the firm-wide strategy across business segments and regions, including executing and integrating M&A transactions across the globe.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Toeneboehn advised on growth strategy and M&A within EY’s Transaction Economics group. In this role, he assisted financial sponsors and multinational corporations with M&A, leveraged buyouts (“LBOs”) and debt financings.
Relevant Experience:
- Led the identification, sizing and implementation of $300 million in cost savings for a major studio, enhancing profitability during its digital transition to a streaming-first model
- Reviewed the business plan for a large SaaS business, building a bottom-up model to assess the company’s operational needs, customer retention and industry positioning
- Developed a revised content strategy for a major U.S. television news organization
- Acted as the Interim VP of FP&A for a leading provider of consumer products serving K–12 and higher education institutions
- Developed a revised content windowing and measurement strategy for a major Hispanic streaming and broadcast network
- Provided M&A advisory support for various PE-backed SaaS companies
- Performed due diligence for companies across various TMT sub-industries, including media intelligence and social media monitoring, public relations software, education services, and content creators and distributors
