Jim Sinople

Jim Sinople has more than 20 years of experience in financial management, financial reporting and operational performance across real estate, investment management and financial services organizations. Mr. Sinople’s areas of expertise include Securities and Exchange Commission (“SEC”) reporting, fund administration, private and public equity, capital markets, treasury management and investor relations.

Mr. Sinople is a leader in the Investment Administration & Reporting (“IA&R”) group within the Real Estate Solutions practice. The group serves as an outsourced accounting department and financial reporting advisor for publicly and privately held real estate and real estate finance companies.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Sinople served as chief accounting officer at Beemok Capital, a family office, where he oversaw investments, financial reporting, internal controls and accounting compliance. Previously, he spent more than 10 years at Nuveen, a Teachers Insurance and Annuity Association of America (“TIAA”) company, where he served as chief financial officer and treasurer of Nuveen Global Cities REIT, Inc. In this role, he led all aspects of treasury and finance — including SEC reporting, Sarbanes-Oxley Act (“SOX”) compliance, capital raise initiatives, fund administration and liquidity management.

While at Nuveen, Mr. Sinople also served as director of real estate products and development, where he was responsible for developing proprietary investment products focused on private equity and debt strategies. Additionally, he served as director of investment accounting for real estate and real assets, supporting the company’s growth initiatives, including the expansion of its real estate equity and debt platforms.

Relevant Experience:

• Established a financial reporting, treasury and internal control framework for a $5 billion family office, developing consolidated financial statements and reducing production time by more than 90 days
• Managed the accounting, valuation and analysis for a private equity portfolio consisting of more than 50 investments across multiple industries
• Raised more than $3.5 billion of institutional and retail capital for Nuveen Real Estate’s private equity and private credit vehicles across core, core-plus and value-add investment strategies
• Developed and launched various real estate private equity funds, leading the investment strategy formation, market analysis, fundraising efforts and capital deployment
