Jonathan Mahan

Jonathan Mahan focuses on turnaround and restructuring advisory and has over 15 years of experience in restructuring, various senior financial and operational executive roles and extensive expertise in the healthcare industry. As a corporate finance and restructuring advisor, Mr. Mahan has represented companies, indenture trustees, lenders, creditors and stakeholders in distressed situations.

Mr. Mahan specializes in financial modeling, developing financial and operating plans, cash flow management, developing restructuring solutions and healthcare-related areas including revenue cycle, tax ID conversions and practice management and electronic health record conversions. He has worked in multiple roles across corporate finance, treasury, revenue cycle management, system implementations, mergers and acquisitions, marketing and operations.

Mr. Mahan also has a broad range of healthcare experience, including senior living communities, physician groups and hospitals. Beyond healthcare, his experience also includes working across a diverse range of industries including, media, telecommunications, consumer goods, manufacturing and logistics.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Mahan was the Vice President of Revenue and Acting Chief Operating Officer for a physician group in Denver, Colorado, overseeing a successful turnaround in business performance, consolidation of Tax IDs and multiple billing and electronic health record system implementations, leading to a successful sale of the company.

Before that, Mr. Mahan worked at the Yellow Pages Group, New Zealand, where he oversaw the corporate finance function throughout the successful reorganization of the company with 41 banks and financial institutions, resulting in a $1.1 billion debt write-off, reducing debt leverage from 13x to 5x.
