Josh Sarson is a Managing Director in the Financial Services team, based in London. Josh has 10 years of experience in the sector, primarily working with asset managers, asset owners, banks and investment services companies to deliver multichannel campaigns, best-in-class press office activity, corporate narrative development and crisis communications.
Josh has supported some of the world’s largest brands across the financial sector, including supporting BlackRock’s UK profile and launching their flagship annual consumer report, delivering multiyear award-winning campaigns for HSBC, working with Morningstar to develop a global communications framework and programmes targeting the breadth of institutional and retail stakeholder groups for companies such as M&G Investments, Franklin Templeton, Janus Henderson, Aviva Investors, Man Group, Railpen and PGIM.
Alongside client engagements, Josh is passionate about driving better practices on diversity, inclusion and belonging (“DIB”), leading the team’s internal DIB initiatives and supporting a number of clients to raise visibility on DIB topics. This includes leading outreach for the pro bono client Reboot, a charity seeking to address racial inequality in the financial services space. He also supports clients with campaign work to promote DIB initiatives, most recently including a global campaign for BNY Mellon IM to address the gender investment gap and for HSBC Global Commercial Bank to support female-led businesses.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Josh worked in-house at asset manager Russell Investments.
