About Justin
Justin Eisenband is a Senior Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Telecom, Media & Technology Practice. With more than 15 years of experience, Mr. Eisenband has advised leading companies and capital partners, providing expertise in financial, strategic and operational advisory services. His work spans enterprise transformation, revenue growth strategies, cost optimization, commercial and operational diligence and restructuring, with a strong focus on the technology and media sectors.
Mr. Eisenband has worked extensively with technology companies to navigate disruption, optimize profitability and drive operational efficiencies. He most recently served as Interim CFO for a media and advertising technology company, where he led the finance function and implemented profitability improvement initiatives across content, sales, product, engineering and back-office functions.
Mr. Eisenband has worked with a broad array of companies in the technology space including enterprise software, AdTech and MarTech, e-commerce, digital media and social media platforms and EdTech.
With expertise in growth strategy, competitive analysis, pricing optimization and go-to-market planning, Mr. Eisenband works with companies to unlock value, improve profitability and drive long-term strategic success. He has also spearheaded large-scale transformation programs identifying cost-reduction opportunities across content, sales and marketing, operations, product and engineering, as well as back-office functions.
Relevant Experience:
- Led all general and administrative (“G&A”) functions, including finance, HR, IT and legal, as Interim Chief Financial Officer for a media and technology company, overseeing budgeting processes, investor communications and profitability improvement initiatives for consumer applications and advertising technology
- Led portfolio optimization and profitability assessment for a global MarTech company to identify low margin products and customer segments
- Performed detailed cost transformation diagnostic and developed a detailed roadmap for the transformation program of an enterprise SaaS company across the sales and revenue functions, customer experience, research and development, operational and back-office functions
- Assessed enterprise-wide cost-saving opportunities for a research and educational service provider, achieving functional savings of more than $100 million and recommending product, customer and geographic rationalization to maximize profitability
- Conducted a business plan assessment and in-depth operational diligence for a lead generation company to understand key trends around lead acquisition, customer spend and operational cost structure
- Assessed a MarTech company focused on email and customer loyalty products to understand customer acquisition, retention and growth, as well as trending cost structure and key initiatives to reduce overhead costs
