Kaly Trupp

Kaly Trupp advises telecommunications and digital infrastructure companies and their investors through moments of significant change, including acquisitions, separations, integrations and transformation.

Ms. Trupp is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting's Telecom, Media and Technology practice, based in Denver. Over a career of more than 15 years, she has worked with companies, private equity firms, lenders and investment banks across the full company lifecycle.

Her work centers on transactions and the operational change that follows them. She has led separation management offices, stood up new platforms from Day 1, and built the financial models and business plans that underpin deals and restructurings. Her experience spans due diligence, merger integration, carve-out planning, synergy analysis, operating model transformation and digital strategy.

Before joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Trupp worked in the retirement plan consulting practice of a wealth management firm serving high-net-worth client, where she managed client relationships, analyzed plan performance and assessed risk.

Ms. Trupp holds an M.B.A. in Finance and a B.S. in Business Administration, Information and Operations Management from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

• Led the separation management office for the sale of $1 billion and $800 million units of a $17 billion telecom provider
• Led the Day 1 stand-up of a data center platform
• Led due diligence on two $1.5 billion fiber-to-the-home (“FTTH”) providers
• Delivered an operating model transformation for a $1 billion telecom provider
• Supported the integration of a $2 billion telecom business across the integration management office (“IMO”), HR, finance and synergy workstreams
• Built the carve-out model for a $1.3 billion UCaaS provider
• Conducted diligence of a $200 million telecom business for a PE buyer
• Managed the restructuring business plan for a $700 million satellite business
• Optimized the supply chain of a large data center developer
