Kathryn DeVito

Kathryn DeVito is a Senior Managing Director within the Strategic Communications segment at FTI Consulting, based in Washington, D.C. Ms. DeVito is a digital platform and content strategist with more than 25 years of experience developing and leading integrated and complex communications campaigns.

Ms. DeVito’s expertise is firmly rooted in devising data-driven and audience-first campaigns that often include extensive primary research that integrate data science, content strategy, stakeholder engagement and paid media. At FTI Consulting, she helps ensure all communications advisors have deep understanding of who their audiences are and the most compelling way to reach them. She leads the practical integration of digital and AI solutions within the Strategic Communications segment. Her clients include Fortune 100 companies, coalitions, government agencies, trade associations and nonprofits.

Prior to FTI Consulting, Ms. DeVito was the Senior Vice President and Practice Chair at LEVICK where she led the building of a digital team from the ground up, starting its communications analytics practice and re-launching the company’s external marketing efforts.

Before working for LEVICK, Ms. DeVito spent almost 10 years at FleishmanHillard (“FH”) as a Senior Vice President and Partner, leading the digital, content and platform strategy team. She served as the client relationship manager for a large D.C.-based trade association, where she oversaw the implementation of a consumer-focused reputation campaign strategy that included elements of paid, earned, shared and owned tactics. At the end of her tenure at FH, she ran the new business operations for the D.C. office. Ms. DeVito has also worked at APCO Worldwide, MacNeil/Lehrer Productions and as a freelance writer. Her writing has appeared in Kirkus Reviews, PR Week, Publisher’s Weekly and The Weekly Standard.

Ms. DeVito graduated from Boston University with a B.A in History. The Consulting Report named her as a top 25 Consultant in Digital Transformation in 2025.
