Prior to FTI Consulting, Mr. Swiat was a Director in the Cybersecurity & AI-Enabled Due Diligence practice at a Big Four firm, where he spearheaded the development of AI-driven cyber diligence methodologies to detect anomalous risk patterns and evaluate security program maturity in real time. He also created post-close cybersecurity integration playbooks spanning Day 1 readiness, regulatory alignment (e.g., SEC, GDPR) and IT risk governance.
Furthermore, Mr. Swiat served as the Cybersecurity Strategy & Resilience Lead for M&A at a global consulting firm, where he directed more than 400 M&A cyber diligence and regulatory compliance engagements and successfully launched and scaled a Virtual CISO (“vCISO”) offering for PE-backed companies to stabilize cybersecurity functions post-close or post-breach.
