About Kevin
Kevin E. Cahill is a Managing Director in the Economic Consulting segment with 25 years of consulting experience in labor economics, applied econometrics, public policy and commercial litigation, including 20 years of testifying experience.
Kevin’s litigation cases have spanned a variety of industries and topics, including employment and contract disputes, discrimination, antitrust issues and other topics that require statistical expertise, analyses involving applied microeconomics or an assessment of economic damages.
Kevin has also authored dozens of articles and book chapters over the past two decades and regularly presents his research at conferences throughout the United States. He is best known for his peer-reviewed publications on labor market transitions using the Health and Retirement Study, a large nationally representative dataset of older Americans.
Kevin is a member of the American Economic Association, the National Academy of Social Insurance, the Gerontological Society of America and the Western Economics Association International. Additionally, he is a past president of the National Association of Forensic Economics, a founding member of the editorial board of Work, Aging, and Retirement and an editorial board member and reviewer for a variety of academic journals.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Kevin was a partner at ECOnorthwest and held positions at Analysis Group and Abt Associates. He earned his B.A. with honors in mathematics and economics from Rutgers College and his M.A. and Ph.D. in economics from Boston College.

- Conducted statistical analyses to assess charity care compliance in the healthcare industry
