Kevin Martin

Kevin Martin specializes in company-side corporate finance engagements and has more than eight years of work experience at FTI Consulting. Mr. Martin’s industry experience includes healthcare, retail, fitness, manufacturing, engineering and construction (“E&C”), oilfield services, exploration and production (“E&P”) and chemicals.

Mr. Martin has been responsible for engagements including business plan creation and due diligence, finance and accounting support, detailed cash flow forecasting, and financial planning and analysis support. He has assisted companies as they prepare to raise capital and refinance debt, and has conducted and led business diagnostics, enterprise strategic assessments, corporate overhead reviews, debt negotiations, collateral assessments and stakeholder communications management.

Mr. Martin’s notable public engagements include Adeptus Health, Forest Park Medical Center, Prospect Medical Holdings, RadioShack, 24 Hour Fitness, Great Atlantic & Pacific Tea Company (“A&P”), Chicago Bridge & Iron, CARBO Ceramics, B&G Crane, Hastings Entertainment and Antares Energy.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Martin worked as the manager of financial planning and analysis (“FP&A”) for Flexjet. While there, Mr. Martin managed a team with responsibilities for operational decision support and financial accountabilities for a $500 million budget.

Relevant Experience:

• Served as co-chief restructuring officer (“CRO”) of Boxed, Inc., a publicly traded wholesale retailer located in New York City; managed the delivery of a company-side restructuring engagement, including the development and implementation of the company’s business plan
• Retained as 24 Hour Fitness’s CRO; responsible for evaluating the company's portfolio of more than 450 fitness clubs to optimize the portfolio on a go-forward basis and managing short-term liquidity
• Helped lead a large quick-service restaurant (“QSR”) franchisee with more than 900 locations through a complex refinancing process after defaulting under its credit agreement; led the delivery of a challenging company-side out-of-court restructuring
• Advised a large radiology practice on short-term liquidity forecasting and the development of a 13-week cash flow forecast; provided support to the company through a complex capital raise and amend-and-extend process
• Appointed CRO of Adeptus Health for the purpose of developing a comprehensive business plan, liquidity forecasting and reporting, working with external parties in due diligence and negotiations and developing and analyzing strategic alternatives
