Kevin Meyer is a member of FTI Consulting’s Office of the CFO Solutions practice where he specializes in assisting CFOs plan and execute strategic, financial and operational initiatives. Mr. Meyer has worked with companies across various stages of the corporate lifecycle and leads engagements which maximize capital efficiency, reduce costs, enhance business planning and performance management capabilities, execute transformations and manage liquidity.
Mr. Meyer’s engagements have spanned several industries, including technology, retail, public sector, chemical, hospitality and travel. He is an expert in the design and deployment of decision-support analytics to drive performance improvement. He has also served in an interim management capacity leading client finance teams through complex professional situations.
Most recently, Mr. Meyer served as the interim Vice President of Financial Planning and Analysis (“FP&A”) for an underperforming $600 million consumer products manufacturer, where he supported senior leadership with turnaround efforts to right-size the company’s cost structure and stabilize liquidity. Mr. Meyer led all financial forecasting and planning efforts for the company, including the design and build-out of a 13-week cash flow forecast process. Furthermore, Mr. Meyer supported the company’s efforts to recapitalize their balance sheet and amend their credit agreement. While leading the day-to-day operations of the FP&A department, Mr. Meyer spearheaded a comprehensive redesign of the company’s management reporting, including the design and build-out of new analytical tools to evaluate and monitor channel, 4-wall and SKU-level profitability, as well as new business review processes and board reporting.
