Kush Savjani, CFA

Kush Savjani is a member of the Office of the CFO Solutions practice with more than 12 years of experience in business transformation. Mr. Savjani brings strong expertise in strategic planning, performance improvement, shared services and outsourcing, merger integrations and carve-outs.

Mr. Savjani has worked across multiple sectors, including postal and logistics, car rental, consumer products, healthcare, construction, industrial products and manufacturing. Throughout this work, he has served both corporate and private equity clients across Europe, the Middle East and Africa (“EMEA”) and the United States.

In his role, Mr. Savjani leads engagements with CFOs and finance functions to drive improvements across order-to-cash, record-to-report and procure-to-pay processes. He also advises on operating model redesign and shared services, short-term cash flow forecasting and enhanced planning and performance management.

Mr. Savjani’s broader business transformation experience includes identifying and delivering pricing and operational improvements, as well as managing merger integration and carve-out engagements on both the buy- and sell-side across the full deal cycle, from initiation to close.

Relevant Experience:

• Implemented a new captive, client-branded finance global business services center in Warsaw, saving $19 million in recurring costs
• Led carve-out and day-one readiness for a client’s EMEA finance function; included systems and mock-close testing, transition service agreement development, cash flow forecasting and report creation
• Achieved a 14% reduction in indirect costs, led the finance transformation and improved working capital, working alongside the CFO
• Improved cost transparency by auditing key performance indicators and recorded data, diagnosing cost variability issues and implementing a new financial model for budgeting and forecasting
• Diagnosed short-term cash flow forecast inaccuracy issues at the contract level; produced an updated forecast to support cash requirements for transaction closure
• Managed a client’s asset sale to a private equity firm; included writing the strategic plan and information memorandum, conducting question and answer sessions and creating the asset register; post-signing activities ensured the operational capability of new legal entities at closure
