LaQuita Jewett has more than 15 years of experience supporting strategic company initiatives and transactions for private equity firms, global companies and middle market businesses through the pre-sign, sign-to-close and post-close phases of a deal lifecycle for both carve-outs and merger integrations.

Ms. Jewett has diverse experience leading M&A projects, managing more than 60 complex M&A projects and transactions ranging from $25 million to $2 billion in various industries. She has vast expertise in quality of earnings analysis, vendor due diligence assistance, carve-outs, identification of key deal issues and risk areas, assessment of working capital requirements and other key performance indicators, and analysis of financial reporting processes and deal synergies and post-merger integration.

Further, Ms. Jewett has extensive experience leading finance and back-office functions in financial reporting, quarterly reviews, technical accounting and analysis, forecasting and executing special projects.

Relevant Experience:

• Interim Management: Directed the work of Controllership teams (more than 50 professionals) for a $1.9 billion life sciences company publicly listed in the UK and $800 million media, events and research company
• Pre-Sign Due Diligence (Carve-Out): Led Seller due diligence to carve-out and stand-up a $800 million generic drug business from a leading pharmaceutical parent company
• Sign-to-Close Planning (Merger Integrations): Oversaw cross-functional PMO for global integration of $16 billion acquisition of cancer treatment drugs (11 products, approximately 2,200 full time equivalents (“FTEs”)) including restructuring, IT and legal and regulatory costs
• Sign-to-Close Planning (Post-Close Due Diligence): Prepared closing statement including the closing cash, closing indebtedness and closing working capital amounts for $60 million acquisition of a healthcare system in accordance with the Member Transfer Agreement
