Lisa Branciforte, MSN, BSN, RN

Lisa Branciforte is a high-performing nurse executive with more than 30 years of professional experience, both in industry and as a consultant. Ms. Branciforte is known for collaborating with her clients to focus on complex clinical and operational transformational journeys resulting in both positive clinical and financial outcomes, which are sustainable over time. Her skillset spans workforce performance improvement, project management, clinical effectiveness, span of control and organizational design, patient care delivery design, emergency department (“ED”) patient progression and perioperative services optimization.

Ms. Branciforte is known for leading initiatives that enhance organizational experience, reduce costs, eliminate inefficiencies and streamline workflows through lean methodologies, innovation and digitalization. She has spearheaded and participated in benchmarking, productivity target setting and workforce productivity improvement assessments and implementations for community and children’s hospitals, as well as academic health centers, resulting in tens of millions of dollars of labor expense reductions. She has designed and implemented patient care delivery systems that decreased costs and increased efficiency and service delivery of hospital-based services, using leading practices of work redesign, role transition and management restructuring.

Ms. Branciforte also has experience leading multidisciplinary workflow and process rapid design sessions that result in the development and implementation of processes that improve patient flow in the ED, women’s health centers and perioperative services, all while utilizing Lean Six Sigma methodology and tools. She has led efforts to grow virtual bed capacity and improve patient flow, incorporating reductions in length of stay, timelier patient-to-bed placement and optimizing nurse-to-patient staffing.

Prior to working at FTI Consulting, Ms. Branciforte had more than 20 years of advisory services experience, including four years as a senior manager in health advisory at EY.

Ms. Branciforte received her B.S. in Nursing from Salve Regina University and her M.S. in Nursing from the University of Connecticut.
