Marc Yaklofsky

Marc Yaklofsky is a Managing Director for the Corporate Reputation practice within the Strategic Communications segment, based in New York.

Marc has more than 20 years of experience building and leading communications, public relations and investor relations functions at a broad array of global financial institutions. He has a long track record of creating effective corporate narratives, building brands and enhancing investor engagement.

Most recently, Marc was Global Head of Communications and Public Relations at Genesis Global Trading, an institutional crypto prime brokerage. In this capacity, he was responsible for leading internal and external communications, social media and mission-related public policy initiatives for the firm. Prior to joining Genesis, he was President and Co-Founder of Shorr Resources, LLC, a strategic communications and investor relations advisory firm for fintech and financial services clients. He advised clients on private market capital raising, helped guide the corporate transition from privately held to publicly traded, led comprehensive media relations strategies and developed go-to-market communications and marketing programs. Before leading Shorr Resources, he was Global Head of Communications for BNY Mellon’s Asset Servicing division, the firm’s flagship business line.

Previously, Marc was Head of Communications & Investor Relations at FS Investments, an alternative asset manager, with a focus on building the firm’s corporate communications function and diversifying investor ownership of its funds. He was also Head of Stakeholder Communications and Investor Relations at Nomura, a global investment bank, where he oversaw messaging to Nomura’s key stakeholder groups, including equity and debt investors, rating agencies and clients.
