Marco Bozzetto

Marco Bozzetto is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance segment with more than 10 years’ experience advising businesses, financiers and investors in restructuring and turnaround situations. Marco works with businesses experiencing financial or operational challenges, as well as their boards, management, lenders and legal advisers, to assess performance, identify risks and develop practical strategies to preserve and enhance value.

Marco’s experience spans a broad range of restructuring and advisory engagements, including independent business reviews, due diligence, options analysis, contingency planning, restructuring strategy and formal insolvency appointments. He has worked on complex engagements involving businesses across the mining, construction, energy and renewables, agriculture, wholesale trade and financial services sectors. Drawing on experience across a broad range of industries, Marco brings a well-rounded perspective to complex situations, helping stakeholders make informed commercial decisions.

Marco is a Certified Practising Accountant (‘CPA’) in Australia. He holds a B.Bus. in Accounting from Queensland University of Technology and is a member of the Australian Restructuring Insolvency and Turnaround Association (‘ARITA’). Additionally, Marco is a member of the Turnaround Management Association (‘TMA’) Australia, where he serves as Chair of the Queensland NextGen Committee.

Relevant Experience:

• Performed due diligence for a lending syndicate in connection with a financing transaction involving a large steel manufacturer 
• Conducted due diligence engagements on behalf of various private lenders in relation to businesses operating in the oil and gas, mining and financial services sectors 
• Supported the delivery of strategic advice to a confidential client regarding its exposure to a distressed mining company  
• Conducted an independent business review of a large construction materials group for a major Australian bank 
• Assisted with the Voluntary Administration of Collection House Limited (ASX: CLH), including its subsequent sale 
• Supported the Receivership of a wood pellet manufacturing facility owned by Altus Renewables Limited, including its subsequent sale to a global renewable energy producer 
• Managed operations and cash flow during the Receivership of a construction waste recycling facility on behalf of a government-owned financier/investor
