María Sánchez-Palomo

María Sánchez-Palomo is a member of FTI Consulting’s Construction, Projects & Assets practice. She has more than 15 years of experience providing management in various roles, including Chief Operations Officer, member of the Board of Directors and advisor on project and contract management.

Throughout the course of her professional career, Mrs. Sánchez-Palomo has gained thorough understanding and extensive experience in preparing, managing and negotiating major disputes and claims. She has been involved in many arbitration proceedings, assisting both private contractors and public entities.

Mrs. Sánchez-Palomo is experienced in rail transportation projects in Spain, France, the UK and the Middle East. Additionally, she has advised on airport projects in México, Perú, South Africa and the Netherlands and has held board-level and managerial positions for several international engineering and construction companies.

Mrs. Sanchez-Palomo has a Master’s of Science in Civil Engineering in the field of Foundations and Structures and a Master’s in Business Administration related to Public Private Partnership (“PPP”) from Polytechnic University of Madrid (“UPM”).
