Mark Wasserman

Mark D. Wasserman is a Senior Managing Director at FTI Consulting and is based in Atlanta. Mr. Wasserman brings more than 35 years of experience spanning corporate transactional law, executive leadership and client advisory work, with a focus on navigating complex business matters.

Mr. Wasserman draws on his extensive industry knowledge and professional relationships to advise clients on a broad range of business challenges and provide strategic guidance. His work centers on strengthening client relationships across both the United States and key international markets, helping clients navigate complex transactions, respond to evolving business needs and achieve their broader strategic objectives.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Wasserman served as CEO Emeritus of Eversheds Sutherland after leading the U.S. firm as Managing Partner for two decades, including eight years as Global Co-CEO. Throughout his tenure, he guided the firm’s strategy, with an emphasis on delivering high-quality, efficient and innovative client service. Before his election as U.S. Managing Partner, Mr. Wasserman co-chaired the firm’s U.S. corporate transactional team and served as a member of its Executive Committee.

Mr. Wasserman is active in professional and civic organizations, serving on the Executive Committees of the boards of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce and the Clemson University Foundation, as well as the Governing Board of the Woodruff Arts Center. His past board service includes Equal Justice Works and the Atlanta Women’s Foundation.

A thought leader and active speaker on artificial intelligence, law firm leadership and the future of the legal profession, Mr. Wasserman shares his perspectives at industry conferences, in podcasts and through advisory roles. His contributions explore how technology, evolving client expectations and new approaches to leadership are reshaping legal services, with an emphasis on the human judgment, relationships and skills essential to successful transformation.
