Mathis Ebeling

Mathis Ebeling has more than 10 years of M&A and corporate finance experience. Mathis advises corporate and private equity clients, with more than 60 completed engagements across Europe.

Mathis covers the industrials and business services sectors with a focus on sell-side and buy-side transactions, strategic reviews and independent board advisory. He has particular expertise in complex cross-border carve-outs and non-core divestments for listed European corporates. 

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mathis was a senior member of the Investment Banking practice of Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) in Germany. He began his career with roles at SEB Enskilda and Bertelsmann India Investments. 

Mathis’ recent transaction experience includes advising the shareholders of Fischbach KG on the sale of a majority stake to Onex Partners, NOKERA AG on the divestment of R+S Group’s multi-technical services business to VINCI Energies and Rotork plc on the divestment of two non-core businesses to Dacke Industri. Over his career, he provided M&A advice to clients including Aliaxis, BASF, Benteler, Bosch, Daimler, GfK, Nippon Gases, Oxford Instruments, Sarco, Spirax and thyssenkrupp, as well as private equity funds and family offices.
