Michael Yoshimura

Michael Yoshimura provides interim management and company-side financial advisory services to organizations in both distressed and non-distressed situations.

Mr. Yoshimura brings more than nine years of experience assisting organizations and serving in various interim management roles in a range of industries, including SaaS, healthcare, life sciences and media and entertainment. He specializes in working with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally to secure positive outcomes on behalf of clients.

Mr. Yoshimura has extensive experience counseling executive teams and financial departments on the formal restructuring process and is proficient in developing cash flow models and liquidity forecasts. He has advised Invitae Corporation, the McClatchy Company and Avianca, among many other companies.

He has served as advisor to lenders in various instances, including for a large, multinational entertainment company in Latin America and a post-production media and entertainment company.

Relevant Experience:

• Served as co-chief restructuring officer of a video conferencing company
• Advised industry-leading healthcare revenue cycle management (“RCM”) company, working closely with the company’s CFO to streamline the company’s analyses calculating EBITDA adjustments
• Developed an operating cash flow model and liquidity forecasts for a large healthcare provider group, working closely with the finance and accounting teams to refine collection and disbursement assumptions
• Advised a private equity-sponsored retail chain with $2.5 billion of annual sales on the development of an operating cash flow model and liquidity forecasting
• Worked with a privately held business process outsourcing company, conducting a review of the company’s business plan model and addressing diligence questions of potential equity investors and the company’s lender group
