Molly McNary is a member of the Office of the CFO Solutions practice with diverse experience in finance operations across the real estate, retail, industrial, and travel and leisure industries. She has a proven track record of designing and implementing efficient and effective finance processes and organizations for her clients.
Ms. McNary’s recent experience includes assessing the feasibility of outsourcing finance and accounting for a rapidly growing, private equity owned company in the single-family housing rental industry. She currently supports implementation which will result in an estimated $4.3 million of annual savings. Similarly, she recently provided a roadmap for the centralization of finance and accounting activities for a $500 million international die casting company.
In addition to service delivery model optimization, Ms. McNary specializes in process design and improvement. Previously, she identified $10 million of cost-saving initiatives through operating model and process redesign for a recently privatized $230 million timeshare company prior to initial public offering (IPO).
Process focused; Ms. McNary enjoys unlocking cash for her clients through optimization of core working capital activities. She managed working capital and drove improvements for a $3 billion restaurant supply company through COVID-19 which enabled a $40 million paydown of the company’s asset backed loan (ABL). Additionally, she managed the implementation of process improvements to the order-to-cash activities for a $40 billion technology distribution company and reformed the order-to-cash processes for a $5 billion specialty chemicals manufacturer. Post-carve out, Ms. McNary managed the stand-up of the order-to-cash organization, policies and processes for a $500 million footwear company.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. McNary held key corporate finance positions at Rolls-Royce in their Finance Leadership Development Program. Over a three-year period, she gained experience in corporate finance, internal audit and operations.
