Nancy Hungerford is a Managing Director in the Strategic Communications segment of FTI Consulting, based in Washington D.C.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Nancy was a news anchor for CNBC International, where she hosted the network's award-winning programs from Singapore, Squawk Box and Street Signs Asia. During her time in Singapore, Nancy led coverage of the International Monetary Fund (“IMF”) and World Bank meetings in Bali, the Asia-Pacific Economic Cooperation (“APEC”) business summit in Vietnam, and the G20 Summit in Japan and interviewed numerous government officials, including the U.S. Secretary of the Treasury and finance ministers from around the world. Nancy also was the face of the network’s Asia programming on the World Economic Forum in Davos.
Prior to working in Singapore, Nancy worked as a general assignment reporter and producer for CNBC in London, where she interviewed leading CEOs from various industries and political leaders across Europe. Nancy led coverage of the European auto sector as well as French corporates. She also reported regularly on European Brexit negotiations in Brussels.
Throughout her career in Asia and Europe, Nancy had a front row seat to the flourishing tech start-up scene. She interviewed rising stars from conferences such as London Tech Week, Money 2020 in Copenhagen and the Singapore FinTech Festival.
Nancy graduated with distinction from the London School of Economics with an M.A. in European Political Economy. She also received a B.A. in Foreign Affairs and History from the University of Virginia.
