Paulo Schiavon

Paulo Schiavon is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance & Restructuring segment. Paulo has more than 20 years of experience steering financial institutions and corporations undergoing expansion or restructuring processes. He has a broad professional background in agriculture, industrial, financial services, healthcare and logistics.

Paulo has worked on numerous projects for clients in Brazil and South America since joining FTI Consulting. These projects have involved interim management, turnaround, fundraising solutions and anti-money laundering and compliance assessments across various industries, including agribusiness, financial institutions, food industry and tech services.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, he was the Executive Director at the holding company Unimed Porto Alegre, where he oversaw a group of companies focused on healthcare and digital transformation. Preceding this role, he served as the CFO of a large manufacturing industrial group, assisting the shareholders in a turnaround process for three years. Paulo also held positions as Managing Director at national and international financial institutions, such as Itaú BBA and BNP Paribas. His main responsibilities included dealing with debt and equity transactions, pursuing M&A deals and asset and liability management.

Paulo speaks Portuguese, English and French.
