Philipp Bose

Philipp Bose is a Managing Director in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance segment. Philipp has more than 15 years of experience advising on M&A transactions across the full deal lifecycle.

Philipp provides independent M&A advice to publicly listed and privately held corporations, as well as leading private equity firms. He focuses on M&A advisory, especially carve-outs and non-core divestments, as well as growth capital and fairness opinions. Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Philipp held senior positions at Kroll (formerly Duff & Phelps) and gained experience at telecom, media and technology consulting firm Altman Solon and in Corporate Development and Strategy Department at Siemens AG.

Philipp holds an M.Sc. in Economics from both Ludwig-Maximilians-Universität München. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst (“CFA”) charterholder, and he is a member of the CFA Society Germany, as well as of the European Association of Consultants, Valuators and Analysts (“EACVA”).

Relevant Experience

• Advised BASF SE on numerous non-core divestments and carve-outs in the UK, Singapore, United States, Switzerland and Germany
• Provided guidance to Daimler and BMW on merging their global mobility services in a newly formed joint venture
• Counseled TeamViewer on the acquisition of Ubimax to expand its presence in the wearable computing and augmented reality space
• Advised Telefónica Germany, a listed German telecommunications company, on the spin-off and sale of its passive infrastructure to Telxius/KKR
• Advised KKR and GfK, a leading global technology and research company, on the divestiture and carve-out of four global divisions
