About Rachel
Rachel Robinson is part of the Human Capital practice and specializes in partnering with organizations to establish an efficient Human Resource department. Ms. Robinson has over 25 years of experience including both corporate and consulting leadership in due diligences, performance improvement, carve out and integration. Her experience spans across a variety of sectors including telecommunication, manufacturing, transportation, energy and private equity.
Ms. Robinson has significant expertise within compensation and benefits and broad experience across the overall HR function. She has worked with companies during due diligence to quantify risks and develop short and long-term implementation strategies to set-up or integrate HR structures, compensation and benefit programs, HRIS and payroll, union and non-union labor strategies, and change in control and severance agreements.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Ms. Robinson was the Total Rewards leader for a large global manufacturer, where she led a team from pre-deal due diligence, Day 1 readiness, to post-deal integration as the North American operations doubled in size. Her additional corporate experience includes an energy company and a chemical company where she was responsible for compensation, benefits, payroll and HRIS leading both day-to-day management as well as activities related to due diligence, integration and change management.
Prior to in-house positions, Ms. Robinson spent 20 years as a consultant where she partnered with clients to provide solutions on a broad range of compensation, benefit, and merger and acquisition initiatives. She began her career as a retirement actuary analyzing funding, accounting and risk-reducing strategies for defined benefit single and multi employer pension and postretirement welfare plans.
