Rami Semaan has more than 15 years of consulting experience supporting performance improvement and value creation mandates through strategy development, cost optimization and implementation support. Rami’s cross-sector expertise spans consumer and retail, manufacturing, transport, tourism and leisure, utilities and oil and gas.
Rami currently leads the business transformation team within FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance Middle East segment. He has supported a number of clients and family-owned businesses across the Middle East, Europe and Africa on their turnaround journey, driving the program design and implementation of large-scale initiatives aimed at improving the top and bottom line. Most recently he has supported the turnaround of a water bottling company and the growth strategy of a polymer packaging company in Saudi Arabia.
Rami has also worked extensively across the energy sector in Saudi Arabia, Oman, the UAE and Jordan where he assisted national oil companies and leading utilities with market entry strategies, medium and long-term strategic plans, revenue optimization through cost-reflective tariff definition and corporate governance practice enhancement. Clients include Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (“ADNOC”), Abu Dhabi Distribution Company (“ADDC”), Dubai Electricity and Water Company (“DEWA”), Saudi National Grid (“NG”) and Oman’s Public Authority for Electricity and Water (now Nama Water Services).
Rami has also supported several initial public offerings in the UAE through leading the commercial due diligence and market report exercise alongside a consortium of advisors.
