Reemal Madlani

Reemal Madlani is a financial analyst, based in London. Reemal specialises in the assessment of damages and complex valuation issues in litigation and international arbitration matters, including advising on the valuation of shares, businesses and other assets and in the quantification of lost profits. He manages and directs engagements to prepare expert reports and to support testifying experts before courts and arbitration tribunals in various jurisdictions.

Reemal’s experience over the last 18 years includes matters relating to contractual, shareholder, post-acquisition and matrimonial disputes. Reemal has assisted in the preparation of reports for submission to courts in the UK, the CAT, tribunals convened under UNCITRAL rules, as well as to ICC, ICSID, DIAC, DIS and LCIA arbitration tribunals.

Reemal has experience across a diverse range of different industries, including energy, heavy industrials, hospitality, retail, real estate development and telecoms. In addition to projects involving UK parties, he has worked on matters involving various African countries, Germany, India and the Middle East. He has also undertaken projects for and alongside colleagues in FTI Consulting’s Corporate Finance, Forensic & Litigation Consulting, and Construction Solutions practices globally.

Reemal was recognised in the 2024 Lexology Index (formerly Who’s Who Legal) guide to expert witnesses in commercial litigation, for his intellect and his ability to stand up to rigorous questioning.

Reemal is a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) Charterholder, and a member of the Research Analysts and Value Investing special interest groups of the UK CFA Society. He holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Warwick, and completed two semesters of study at the Ludwig-Maximilians University in Munich.
