About Rob
Rob Stone is a Managing Director within the firm’s Strategic Communications segment, where he helps to enhance FTI Consulting’s data, analytics, AI and digital capabilities. Mr. Stone advises boards, C-suite leaders and corporate affairs teams on the application of data, analytics and AI to stakeholder engagement, crisis, corporate affairs and communications effectiveness. He has 20 years of experience helping global organisations use data, analytics and emerging technologies to engage key audiences, measure reputation and inform strategic decision making.
Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Stone was Director, Head of Innovation and Digital at Citypress, where he designed and led the development of the firm’s proprietary AI and data platform, embedding AI-driven insight, automation and analytics across corporate communications, reputation and digital advisory services. He commercialised a range of AI-enabled advisory products, including synthetic audiences, generative engine optimisation and automated analytics. Mr. Stone advised senior client stakeholders on the strategic application of data, analytics and AI to corporate reputation, stakeholder engagement and communications effectiveness, working with major corporate clients including Lloyds Banking Group, British Land and Molson Coors.
Previously, Mr. Stone spent more than six years at Zeno Group, where he led the UK’s digital and social practice and founded Z3, the agency’s global digital, data and innovation consultancy, building advisory programmes for global clients such as The Coca-Cola Company, Lenovo, Kraft Heinz and Expedia. Earlier in his career, he was Head of Digital at healthcare agency Pegasus, where he built and led a 20-person team spanning social media, paid media, email and analytics and developed digital and data strategy for clients including GSK, Unilever and Bayer.
