Robin Jezek

Robin Jezek is a Senior Advisor at FTI Consulting. Mr. Jezek provides strategic communications and public affairs advice to financial services firms on EU politics, legislative processes, policy and regulatory matters. His work includes advising financial institutions, banks and market infrastructure firms on complex financial services regulations and engagement with government and regulatory authorities.

Mr. Jezek provides senior strategic advice on EU financial services policy and engagement, including public affairs strategy during transformative business and regulatory shifts. He has led strategic communication initiatives at EU and Member State level on financial infrastructure legislative frameworks, notably Markets in Financial Instruments Directive (“MiFID”)/Markets in Financial Instruments Regulation (“MiFIR”), and has developed evidence-based advocacy strategies on major financial regulation issues including Capital Markets Union, MiFID and regulatory simplification projects.

Prior to joining FTI Consulting, Mr. Jezek was Group Head of Regulatory and Government Affairs at Euronext, a pan-European stock exchange and market infrastructure operator. He led the company’s engagement with policymakers and regulators across the European Union and served as a trusted advisor to the managing board and business leaders. Before Euronext, he served as Deputy Head of the City of London Corporation’s Brussels office, where he played a key role in its establishment and enhanced links between the city of London and EU institutions and Member States.
